We simply cannot keep him any longer.

No, we are sorry! Please consider finding a home for your pet through friends and/or family. There are a number of no kill animal shelters that would be able to advise you on how to take the next step. We do understand that everyone has a story and we would never judge. However, please consider this before getting your next pet; Are you really in it for "life"? Your pet does depend on you! You are all he/she has! xo

Could you help us find the perfect
dog to breed with ours?

No, we only publish stories and pictures of your pet. We do not breed dogs or have any contacts from people who do. You may want to check your local Veterinarian, they usually have a bulletin board full of eager participants!

Our dog isn't eating! Please Help!

We are not professionals but we would be happy to post your questions in our new "Doggy Issues" section. We highly recommend your local Veterinarian once again! They will always know your pet the very best and have oodles of information!

Can I send a picture of my horse and cat or is this just a dog site?

on your site? Where is it??

HippieDog is updated at least once a week. Please be patient! New pets will always be featured on our home page. Your dog will be a movie star before you know it! If your pet's picture is not on the site within a week, please email us.

What kind of dog should we get?

I really do believe that your pet will find you. The only advice we do feel comfortable giving  is this: If you are at work all day, or don't have a yard for a bigger dog. Maybe a smaller, inactive breed is the one for you! Dogs need:
