The Maltese first originated on the little island of Malta as far back in time as the days of ancient Greece. The Maltese are wonderful lap dogs and they love everyone. They tend to think they are
as big as your average Great Dane, although their weight doesn't exceed 5 to 6 pounds. They have beautiful silky white hair and dark black gorgeous round eyes.
Maggie has brought so much love into our family. She was born January1, 2004. Our little new year baby. My brother breeds Maltese's, we are so glad we were lucky enough to get her. She is very spoiled and loves all of her stuffed animals and toys. She is especially fond of her bed and blanket. If you don't have a Maltese and are thinking of getting one....I highly recommend them....we just love her to pieces.
Maltese are so fun to have around. Maggie gets in her "streaking" moods and does perfect figure eights around the coffee table. She has a small-like ferocious growl that makes us laugh! She thinks she's a pretty tough little gal!
